Mary’s flute interests have taken her to the very bookends of its history: baroque era period performance and the extended techniques found in new music.  She regularly performs both baroque flute and modern flute with the Chamber Music Society of Central Virginia.  Her greatest joys are seeing her students’ musical successes and spending time with her family: husband Evan Davis and their two children, Ravenel (12) and Benjamin (7).
